RENTING your home doesn't mean you can't add a touch of your own style to the decor.

One content creator showed her followers how she elevated her bathroom without making any permanent changes.

In her video, TikTok user Adrienne (@adrienneshow) explained: "I’m currently in a one-bedroom apartment and I’m making some renter-friendly upgrades."

The TikToker told viewers that she was making the DIY transformations in an effort "fall back in love with my space."

Adrienne jokingly compared her renter-friendly renovations to the saying: "You're not ugly, you're just broke."

She demonstrated how to switch up the faucet on your bathroom sink on a budget.

Adrienne carefully removed the classic metal faucet before replacing it with a matte black style with a waterfall flow.

In the clip's caption, she wrote: "[It] cost about $60 including the faucet and the wrench set.

"It immediately upgraded the space and it's renter-friendly, I saved all the old pieces so when I leave it can be installed right back," Adrienne added.

While she told her audience that the DIY job "was not necessarily hard," the influencer recommended doing some research.

"I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos, take a break, have a breather," she told her followers.

Adrienne jokingly compared herself to Bob the Builder as she recounted the difficulty she had finding the right wrench for the job.

"You can do it because if I can do it then you sure can," she told her audience.

She added: "The bathroom is coming along really nice and I’m looking forward to the rest."

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.

"The girls are turning the basic apartments into luxury-like apartments without paying the price! I love this," wrote one impressed follower.

Another viewer said: "I'm loving the new faucet! You're inspiring me to do a little something-something girl!"

"I hate the idea that people who are renting shouldn’t love their space, your home should be comfortable! I love this faucet," commented a third person.
